What Happens When You Sign Up
You’ll receive two confirmation emails:
A payment receipt confirming your purchase
A course confirmation containing your Zoom link and any advance materials your instructor has chosen to provide
Our courses take place live on Zoom and are designed to give you meaningful access to the instructor and your fellow writers. You’ll be able to participate through the chat, use your camera if you choose, raise your hand, and ask questions in real time. Participation is encouraged, but you are welcome to engage at the level that feels comfortable for you.
You do not need to prepare anything unless your confirmation email says otherwise. You also do not need to arrive with extensive experience, a finished project, or the “right” thing to say. Come ready to learn, write, and explore alongside other poets.
Each Poetry Lab course is structured a little differently. The course description will explain what to expect, including the schedule, format, and whether recordings or additional materials will be available.
