San Gabriel Valley poet K. Andrew Turner visits The Poetry Lab for a special sensory workshop.

In this renewed workshop we will not only identify and write with the five traditional senses but also explore beyond to the expanded definitions of sensations. Through exercises, prompts, and sharing, we will craft poetry that breathes life with dimensionality, depth, and weight. Readers and listeners can connect more fully to work that appeals to their senses and allows them to inhabit your words.
K. Andrew Turner writes queer, literary, and speculative prose and poetry. He teaches and mentors writers near Los Angeles. In 2013, he founded East Jasmine Review—an electronic literary journal—where he remains the Editor-in-Chief.
